Medicine Lake covers 936 acres and is the second largest lake in the metropolitan area. It’s deepest point is 49 feet but in average is a rather shallow 16 feet.

The fish species present include: Bluegill, Bowfin (Dogfish), bullhead, common carp, crappie, goldeye, sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, white sucker, yellow perch.
