Hennepin County Offers Smart911 Tool To Help Improve Emergency Response
Hennepin County residents and visitors can now sign up for Smart911, a free service that has been proven to improve emergency response, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
Smart911 allows residents to create a safety profile for their property that can be viewed by 911 call takers so first responders are better prepared during emergencies.
All communities served by HCSO 911 and dispatch, can use Smart911. HCSO also encourages those who work or travel in Hennepin County to sign up.
