Election Judge Help Urgently Needed!

Medicine Lake needs two more election judges that consider themselves independent or otherwise unaffiliated from the two major political parties. On election day in Medicine Lake, election judges typically serve three-to-four-hour shifts alongside veteran election judges who can help answer any questions that you might have. This is both a good way to serve your community and interact with your friends and neighbors. 

When scheduling election judges on election day, state law requires an equal number of Democrat-affiliated and Republican-affiliated judges serving at any one time. That requirement does not apply to independent or otherwise unaffiliated election judges, which makes such judges particularly critical for scheduling election judges in this small of a community. We urgently need more election judges that are not affiliated with either major party.
