New Medicine Lake Election Clerk Needed for 2025 and Beyond!

I am stepping down from the position of Medicine Lake Election Clerk at the end of this year (after the November 5 general election). It has been a pleasure to serve our city in this role and I appreciate the many election judges that have served with me during this time.  

We need someone to serve as our Election Clerk. During an election year, the job of the election clerk is to inform and assist voters exercising their right to vote. To that end, the election clerk recruits and educates election judges to work the polls on election day, publishes election information, answers voters’ questions, and ensures the fairness and integrity of the election system. You will be assisted by the Hennepin County Elections Office, whose staff works very hard to make this role as easy, as possible. In addition to the resources and training provided by Hennepin County, you will also benefit from the knowledge and experience of a group of veteran election judges. I will also be available to answer questions, serve as an election judge, and share with you my experience.

If you are interested in serving our city as its Election Clerk, now is the time to contact me. Participating with me in the lead up to and administration of our November 5, 2024 general election is the best training for the position you could receive.
